Post by RichTea »

Having a bit of spare time i thought it was time for a colour change. The colour is soild red wine in a satin finish. Happy with the results...until i get bored of it haha

Did you change from flash red to a different shade of red to avoid issues with declaring a colour change with the DVLA?

The shade you picked seems to match velvet red dash inserts quite well.

I must admit, if I was going to the trouble of wrapping the whole car, I'd look at doing something completely different. Like Mantis/Viper green or something like the Golf R's Lapiz blue or BMW Estoril blue.

Oh I quite like the satin red, so you obviously decided against the matt black with red flake for the time being Rich 8)

Looks good, not a huge fan of matte as it’s common around my parts but that’s usually a rubbish matte black, this is quite tasteful. Is the rear tint the standard + tint? Looks darker.

And where are the body kit parts from, I’ve seen similar things on the Diversion site.

So for the Easter weekend being in lockdown me and the family spend most of the days in the gazebo in the front garden. I left it up over 3 days and on sunday we had high winds during the night, gazebo got caught in the wind and crashed into the side of my car. Luckily no bodywork damage...... But a peg managed to rip the wrap on the roof and side door😭. So off it comes today ready for a new brighter colour 😎

Go Viper/Mantis green and ignore the Missus!
