Thanks for shearing the link appreciate it, funnily enough I received an order from them today for an armrest raiser along with a 10% discount code , I guess I’ll be using the code at checkout lol

it’s decent tbh , it makes the armrest way more useable I went for 2cm, it’s a perfect height I thought I’d go for 2cm & if it’s not high enough I can always glue some rubber plastic or foam to raise it but thankfully it’s fine.
Re: What did you and your Polo do today?

Well I didn't know anybody made an armrest lifter, I made my own by bending a strip if flat steel and painting it black.Teee wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:52 pm

Aght to sell them. I'm sure the'll be less of a rip off then £15 for a milled piece of plastic that Diversion stores sell.POLO Clive wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 9:20 amWell I didn't know anybody made an armrest lifter, I made my own by bending a strip if flat steel and painting it black.Teee wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:52 pm

Good job mate, I started with something similar before moving on to my latest design, I couldn't lean on the armrest with any weight without it flexing and thinking something was going to break.Dark_cze wrote: Sat May 02, 2020 6:31 pm Made this in like a year ago and it is hiddenAfter 20 000 km still works perfectly fine

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
After seeing these latest armrest raiser posts I decided to have another look at this, and I've now come up with my final, and by far the simplest version of this necessary modification. It's simply a piece of wood stuck to the inside of the armrest box with double-sided tape, the piece of wood rests nicely on a ledge on the inside of the box, and as a test I'm able lean on the armrest with much more weight than I need to without any problems.

Re: What did you and your Polo do today?
Cleaning my 2018 GTI+, I found my first bit of whiteworm on rear passenger side wheel. It's tiny right now, but I might have to consider getting them powder coated if it propagates further. There was a lacquer coat defect on the rim edge that's been there from day 1 that I kept topped up with sealant.
If it comes to that, just wondering what colour would work best with the Brescias on a red car.
When I had to get a refurbishment on a wheel on my Golf R, the special paint shade for the Pretoria was generically called "Blue steel". It's a slightly bluish/purple tinged silver. The guy (a friend of a friend) who did the refurb had to make a minimum order that would more than cover a full set of alloys in future. Not sure if slightly blue silver will suit the brescias or whether gunmetal grey or anthracite would be better.
Anyone good with photo shop for comparison?
