OK so heres the deal
you go to a garage, you pay people money as a sign you're trusting them to do a better job on sorting your car out than you otherwise would, and here's a small consideration for their time and effort.
so pray tell why the new tyres I have on (pretty good, granted) were not only overinflated to the tune of 4 and 6 psi, so much so that the handling was badly affected, but the balancing is not worth a crock of crap?
all the rest of the stuff could be done by a untrained monkey, with the machines i saw them using.... is it possible to balance your own wheels?
bloody hell.
it's worse than before, i asked specifically for the wheels to be properly balanced because i was having a slight judder through the steering at 70 or so. Now it begins at 50 or less, and by the time you're up to 80 your wrists are aching and it can be felt through the seat, the pedal, the stereo is about to fall out..... not good for parts, not good for safety!
i wonder if the bolts are even on at a decent torque?
for £108, of which only £62 was tyre, i would expect far better than that!
formula 1 auto centres you are the weakest link, goodbye.
problem is i now have to deal with those scrotes to get the problem fixed unless i want to pay for it elsewhere. if only i could have found out the trouble a little sooner before closing time.
gits
