60K service to our polo!

Post by srbpower »

Ok guys, fitted the Toad alarm to the car 8)

So I now need to do the cam belt change which is no problem. But I'd like some advice on parts and where is the best place to get them :)

The oil is sorted, SILKOLENE XTR 10W/40 . This stuff is ace.

So what/where is the best for:

Spark plugs
Fuel filter
Oil filter
Air filter (Performance if possible, although never been a fan of KN&N)

Also what disks and pads do people to go for. I can get basically anything. I think brembo/mintex/Ferodo all list the Mk4 Polo. But which ones work well.

Cheers
Si :)

VW Dealer would have all them.

Whatever you do, use a genuine VW Oil filter...

Not a fan of K&N either here, so I just use the stock air filter. With that, it's all stock (OEM) parts throughout, except for the brakes. I switched to Zimmermann discs (excellent) and Pagid pads, and I like it.
