Just checked Tesco grocery website and the magntic holders are reduced from £6 to £4
Brilliant! The savings just keep on coming...
I got some Scotchguard from Amazon when it was £6 for two cans so that will do the seats.
Dealer confirmed car comes with a spare wheel, so I hope he's right and there won't be an ugly scene/arm-waving/shouting when I go to collect it.
Unfortunately the P/X car has 50 litres of Shell V-power diesel in it. I really hate giving that away.
New Match 95 PS acquired (eventually)

Or use it, or as much of it as you can. An ideal time to use the car for any trips you may have been putting off.Noonoo632 wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 12:42 pm50 litres!!!! I would be suckin that out any way I couldsossidge wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 6:03 am![]()

All trim levels in the current Polo range have a spare wheel with the exception of the Polo Beats model.

It is indeed annoying with a capital 'F',
I'd say the next buyer will get a nice car and a full tank of diesel , but I reckon the dealers/auction bods will drain it first.
Thanks for other post confirming existence of spare wheel. I don't have any upgrades for the new car planned other than a dashcam. It will be going to France on holiday, if the plague lockdown ever ceases.

Picked up the new jam-jar today.
Salesman checked over the P/X and said "Do you know there's afull tank of diesel?" Yes yes. Don't rub it in, mate. Polo came withe nearly half a tank, so that was good.
A couple of suprises: 'Limestone grey metallic' is a a pretty classy colour. Has a slight hint of bronze to it. Very nice.
Also car has Auto headlights which I didn't expect . Sound system also decent as is Google Maps. A/C very cold compare to old car. No armrest, which robs the car of some stowage space, so I'll find an aftrmarket. Suggestions welcome. Match rear window tints welcome on a sunny day.
Car is very refined to drive, especially on the motorway. Very little tyre and wind noise. 95 HP triple pulls well in lane 3, but only 26 miles on it so no time trials. Feels very Golf-like to drive.
Very pleased with it. Funny having three pedals again after DSG.
