My VW Polo GTI + ordered Feb 14, in transit on app July 4th, left PE July 9th on The Glovis Star en route to Vigo in Spain then Emden Germany
I ordered Jan 27th, and got my 5A on July 3rd so I think I might be in same boat as you (hopefully)
Just spoken to my leasing company and............ surprise surprise my car is at the dealers!!!!! Have booked to have it delivered to me on Thursday 30th July. Finally after my near 9 month wait I might actually have a car.

I just got my 5b saying assigned a ship for its journey to the UK. Just have to work out which ship it is now as I’m assuming Grimsby for a Lancashire delivery.
I have also just received my 5b message this morning, as I understand it all this means is that it’s arrived at Emden (Germany) closer I suppose but the wait goes on

How long does it take to go from Germany to being ready at the dealership? I’m eager now

I never received an email or checked on the app (the app doesn’t work for me). The dealership were going to contact me today on the whereabouts of the car however, I checked on the VW website through Live Chat and they happily updated me on the location of the car right this minute.
I’m not sure about Glovis Star but the ship my car is on is the Glovis Century and it departed from South Africa on the 21st July.

Thanks a lot, first time I've managed to get on live chat in a while.
All they told me though is it's left the factory and is on it's way to the port of exit in Emden which is basically all the 5A notification says. Which in other words means, could be anywhere lol.
Ah well, worth a try, gonna ring my dealer and see if they know anything yet.
Still no SMS my end, so guessing it wasn't on the glovis spirit then, this is doing my nut in! For the people who did get 5bs, when did you get your 5as?

I ordered mine Father’s Day, the ship left port on 1/7 and I never got a 5a text it just changed one day on the tracker.
