Coding and Customisation

Does anyone already have or know of the best app for customising features? Such as dipping wingmirror in reverse and other bits.

I've looked at Carista, but reviews on the app store are poor recently, people saying it just kicks them off the app.

Or does anyone already have ways to do this near Gloucestershire? I spoke to one person in Birmingham but the price was a joke. I used to code for BMW's, bimmercode and a Vgate made it super easy, but it seems less common with VW's.

I use Carista mainly because I’m on iPhone otherwise would use OBDeleven. Fairly sure dipping mirrors aren’t possible on polos due to lack of memory seats.
Never had any issues with Carista but it’s quite pricey for the app subscription.

Thanks mate, I think I'd just use the free month trial as I mainly want it for customisation. Good to hear it works fine for you. Did you order the Carista ODB2? I've found one on Amazon for £25

I use Carista a lot aswell, great app if you dont have access to VCDS, never had issues with the app, if you have a Iphone id get the carista OBD, i have one and it works great, however i have the ELM327 as well and have no issues using it, works the same as carista's OBD but it just doesnt have WIFI for IOS, i chose the carista OBD because if you buy it they give you 1 month of their services.

Thanks. I've ordered the Carista OBD and will be using it with an Iphone. Let's hope it can unlock some good features!
