No OEM ones. For the Beetle and Scirocco, an OEM gauge panel was available that featured a boost gauge, oil temperature gauge and stop watch. Is is probably possible to get it to work in a Polo, but it isn't straightforward, plus you will have to cut out a hole in the top of the dashboard to fit it.

An OEM-looking option is a NewSouth Performance boost gauge (similar design to the gauges in the main cluster). They have different designs with different gauge faces and needle colors. I have the Golf R version (blue needle) in my WRC, fitted in an air vent gauge pod. Note that these are analog gauges that require you to fit a boost tap and route a boost line from the engine into the cabin.

If money is not an issue check CanChecked displays.

Another higher-budget option is the P3 digital gauge which installs in the air vent: https://www.p3cars.com/volkswagen/p3-v3 ... 2009-2018/

Thanks for the replys. The first OEM convert would be what I'm after but really wanted it to be showed on the touch screen. A bit like how it shows the eco driving but instead with boost gague. I'm guessing this is not possable.

So for a budget of about £100 I guess, a cheap thing just so I can keep eye for leaks or problems. That's not going to just break and cause me problems.

What i was thinking was getting 1 of these https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-bran ... ost-gauge/
Guessing that's the right one but thunk it's a bit costly for what it is?

This will then allow me to connect a gague?

think this (https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-bran ... 1-8t-2-0t/) is the correct one for a 6c (ea888 gen 3 engine)

If you are worried about leaks, get an OBD based gauge/display. If you fit a boost tap, run a boost line into the cabin and connect an analog boost gauge, you are greatly increasing the risk of potential leaks.

Whether it says Polo or not is irrelevant. The one you linked mentions only the car model (not the engine) which makes no sense since the boost tap is fitted to the engine, not the car body. There are several different engine families used in the Polo, and they require different boost taps. For example none of the 2 that was linked in this thread would fit my Polo 6R because it uses yet a different engine family.

The 6C Polo GTI uses an 1.8 EA888 gen3 engine, that's what matters. The boost tap that Dink linked is for the EA888 gen3 engine. The one you linked looks like it would be for the EA211 engine (the one that was used in the 6R Polo GTI, and a whole lot of other VAG models).

The 6C Polo GTI uses an 1.8 EA888 gen3 engine, Thanks for the info. I new the others would not be wrong, i was just making sure.

So if i wanted a OBD based gauge/display just for turbo boost pressure what would you recomened?
I do like the idea of OBD gauge as long as my vehicle is compatable.

Surely your 2016 polo is a 6C not 6R ? may be that’s where your confusion lies ?

The P3 gauges are really nice and simple to fit and totally reversible.
