Thanks danikd, the indicators on the original mirrors are designed to be subtle in the dark or at night, these that I have installed, eliminate said subtlety ...
The other model, the crystals, are too strident, perhaps they are ideal to be customized with some type of color foil (for customized Golfs). the white color of the crystal dynamic indicators does not quite fit in terms of appearance, the smoked ones fit perfectly, they look cool.

I also thought that these indicators would remain in the box for a year or even more ...
Changing them took me five minutes per mirror, really easy, ... I do not recommend the huge amount of youtube videos dedicated to this exchange of indicators ...

The key to getting it right is removing these two screws:

I had several folding mirrors, but I gave them to some friends, currently I only have the ones I have installed, with all the options.
(and the factory ones, but they are not foldable).

To buy the folding mirrors (LHD) I recommend without any objection those sold in Ali, which are the Originals that are installed in the Golf of the Chinese market.
To buy only the mirror (the glass) with the LED light for BSD, buy only the original ones from VW dealers. All the ones sold on Ali for BSD are deficient with respect to the BSD LED Light ... you know.

A heated windscreen is not necessary in Spain, except for specific high mountain locations or very specific moments of weather conditions.
People who park their cars on public roads during winter usually put cardboard or large cloths on the windscreen to avoid frost on the windshield. (it depends on the place, in Spain there are many microclimates)

They are original/genuine from Germany, bought from my official VW store, with only one LED per lamp.

However, I was hoping someone would ask me this question...

The ones I bought in Aliexpress, with six LEDs per lamp -which are in no case official-, DO NOT WORK! by themselves with the original coding of the original units (shown in the previous post).

They need a 'Simulator' which is connected to the Convenience CAN lines (green-orange, brown-orange), and then the multi-color LED lights with 6 LEDs per lamp are connected to this Simulator.


I found three stores in Ali where they sell them, in none of them do they advise that the 'Simulator' is totally necessary, ... even in one of these three stores they told me that these lamps with 6 LEDs per lamp can work with the original coding of the units ... it's true, as long as you install the Simulator ...
IMHO, it's not worth buying them from Ali, you also have to buy the Simulator, and installing it .

The genuine ones with only one LED per lamp have good brightness to be ambient/footwell lights, ... the brightness can be adjusted in the menu.

Clarification:
The Simulator substitutes the functions for pin T73c/29 for BCMs that do not have this pin.
It is a pity that this multicolored LED lights with 6 LEDs are only compatible in conjunction with the Simulator and not directly with the LIN/PIN T73c/29 if it is available in the BCM (High).

I also have a Ready2Go but mine does not have the camera. Might be a previous version. Really interested in adding it but i don't have the knowledge yet.

Hi nachoga, thanks for your compliments.

If you have a Ready2go, a good version that was sold in Spain (basic version with some great little extras) you have a Golf MK 7.5. It is important that you keep in mind that it is a MK7.5 (not MK7) for your future retrofits.
These basic versions improved to promote their sale (in each country they have a different name with different extra equipment) have an equipment already defined from the factory and the Ready2go version does not include RVC from the factory.

Exceptionally, I will develop this OEM RVC re-equipment theme in this post because I did not do it previously. It is really easy to do.

You need a diagnostic tool (VCDS, OBD11, ODIS, VCP) for a little coding. I'm going to copy and paste here what is already posted in the first page of this thread about RVC coding (KA1), thus we leave the coding issue solved:

OEM RVC (KA1)

 Address 5F: - Information Electronic
 Byte19 Bit4 ...enable ✅

 Address 10: - Park/Steer Assist
 Byte2 Bit4-5... 10 Camera Type: Rear View Camera (RVC) installed ...enable ✅

 'Reset/Reboot radio/navigator' Composition/Discover media --> Keep press the ON/OFF button until the 5F unit restarts from the VW logo. 
 (approx 5-10sec)

It is the coding that you have to do once the RVC is installed.

Where you can buy the RVC OEM:

5GG 827 469 F (KA1) (eg. https://es.aliexpress.com/item/10050020 ... web201603_ )
It is exactly the same as the one sold in Europe but with a different reference. It works great.

Installation

1- You have to remove the necessary trims and install the RVC.

2- Connect the video signals to 5F (blue connector) according to instructions.

You only have to take into account the part dedicated to the blue connector. (click Like )

3- You need a new positive signal-wire +30 from the fuse box because due to the configuration of the wires of the new RVC it is necessary to power the RVC together with the opening switch.
Originally this supply wire comes from the SC18 fuse.
