Disc Brake dust!

I have my 2019 Polo about three weeks now and amazed at the amount of brake dust accumulating on the front wheels (both sides are even)

My last Polo (9n3) had some obviously and it is always a dirty thing to clean up but this time after washing I had to throw the sponge, I have used since having the old car, away and had a job cleaning my hands I'm not complaining about my lifelong sponge.. LOL

Ok I will wear gloves next time but am wondering if this is just the sign of a different era of car life (15 years I had the last Polo) I'm living in..and this is the norm.

Ps.. when rolling the car out of the garage and no engine running i can hear the disc pads rubbing upon braking (whilst not exactly grinding i can hear it).... I only used to hear that if I washed the old Polo and put it away wet for a few days.

I'm not a heavy on the brakes unless I need to.

If you don’t want to see brake dust then you could try cleaning your wheels fully and wax them. I clean my gti every 3/4 weeks and they’re barely dirty, waxing my wheels every 3 months. Even when they eventually have some brake dust it just washes off dead easily.

It’s common on all German cars as there brake pads are made of a hard compound try using EBC Greenstuff pads as they are a low dust pad

Has anyone recommendations on front/rear disc + pad combos as a decent replacement for OEM with less dusting?
