exhaust sysytems for Polo Gti.
Has any one fitted a scorpion exhaust system to their polo?
I've been looking at the Scorpion, Milltek and cobra systems and feel like scorpion seems to be the best fit for me. I just wanted to see if anyone has fitted one and if they had any videos of it?
I've noticed a few people have fitted a Milltek system on their Gti on this forum. is their any chance you could send a video of how loud it is please.
I've searched on YouTube but some of the videos are crap.
thanks in advance.

This is mine, hopefully the video shows properly but I managed to record my exhaust during some blasts down some B-roads.

I was recommended to get the Scorpion shortly after the Milltek exhaust had already been ordered and fitted by the garage.
Either way, here's the Milltek GPF-Back Exhaust System exhaust: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg3k9djr6c8

I’m still standard, but I have heard the Remus and that sounds pretty good. Too much choice!

did they say why they would recommend the scorpion over the milltek?PO10ASH wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:13 pm I was recommended to get the Scorpion shortly after the Milltek exhaust had already been ordered and fitted by the garage.

This a mine. The video was made right after it was fitted. Now the sound is somewhat darker. I am very happy with it. A nice dark sound, not too much. I never use S anymore since my DSG was remapped, but now and than I put the car in S when decelerating to enjoy the farts. I'm also very happy that mine lacks an OPF. That makes it a lot less enjoyable

I'm also looking at an aftermarket option and have the pre-OPF GTi+.
The Mrs is the main driver so I don't want anything too loud but will likely get a de-cat and full exhaust.
Open to recommendations. When looking at exhausts for my other car, Scorpion seemed to be recommended highly due to it not being too loud and also no drone at motorway speeds. Anyone experience drone on their aftermarket systems?

I've seen the scorpion for about 150 quid cheaper though!
Also I used this guide to help me decide.

Pretty much the same information which you've found online. That Cobra uses Sheffield Steel which has been going for years, Milltek is more commercialised now a days, Milltek is so common on most Polos and that the Cobra was "better".Iamnotbarry wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:49 pmdid they say why they would recommend the scorpion over the milltek?PO10ASH wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 4:13 pm I was recommended to get the Scorpion shortly after the Milltek exhaust had already been ordered and fitted by the garage.
