7 speed DSG, wonder whether its the wet or dry clutches box? IQ-drive things like lane assist are on my ID3, you need them now to attain 5 star NCAP rating, although most are a mild annoyance rather than a help if you spend all of your time and attention looking at the road than on your mobile phone.

In the German video (link posted earlier) it sounded like the GTI would have 190PS while in Tomaz's video (link also posted earlier) he stated "with over 200PS". Guess we will have to wait and see.

The power increase was reported in the article on polodriver.com website back in April. Article is towards the bottom of the second page at the link below that I posted earlier in this discussion thread (see my post dated 28/04/2021 towards the bottom of page three of this thread). There’s also another article specifically on the facelift GTI towards the bottom of the first page at that link.

The increased power output of the facelift GTI is actually 204 bhp; when expressed as ps it’s 207 ps.
