I've recently imported a 2016 6c Japanese Polo 1.2tsi. It's the same as UK SE but standard spec is the equivalent of ticking all the options in the UK.
The only notable difference between the Japanese and European versions is the infotainment system.
Early 6c MQB platform (2014) models in Japan came with composition media but this was soon after replaced with a Japanese specific unit manufactured for Volkswagen by Clarion. The 716sdcw incorporated Japan specific toll-road features, Sat Nav, TV and Ipod connectivity but is little use in the UK. Bar one inconclusive thread I haven't been able to locate anyone in the UK who's successfully retrofitted composition/discover media to a JDM 6c import so intend this thread to act as a resource in the future as this query becomes more common.
Prior to proceeding with the retrofit I need some confirmation of the wiring and if possible photos from a European factor fit to verify the system. I've included a couple of questions below which I would appreciate the forum's help with.
The radio and patch harness has a number of connectors as follows. Not relevant to the retro-fit but are a good resource:
Despite the car being MQB interestingly the car has a PQ quadlock.

12 Pin CAN/Power from T12D/T12F (block D quadlock to screen) (J794). See Seat wiring diagram below.
Question: pins 5 and 12 on the screen look to be power and ground respectively. Where do these connect to in a factory application and what voltage is pin t12f/1?
Reverse Camera: re-pinned into block B pins 6 and 12 of MQB quadlock adapter. Has FAKRA type I connector.
Question: Does someone have a picture of this on a factor install going into Block B of J794 qualock
Bluetooth: re-pinned to block B pins 1 and 7 of MQB quadlock adapter.

- OEM install: replace roof antenna with DAB/GPS/European FM band unit and run DAB coax to MIB
