Hi everyone,
I am hoping you can help.
Couple of weeks ago my Golf 2015 VW's Infotainment screen went completely blank/black.
Following a diagnostic test VW (cost £120) say the 5F unit has failed and will cost a mere £2400+ fitted!! This is the CD player and computer chip that sends data to the touchscreen.
So I am now looking for a second hand one for obvious reasons. Where should I start? Can anyone advise what to do.
Apologies if I have put this post in the wrong place...
Kind Regards
Adnan

Thanks, I have already seen this. Unfortunately the part number they have mentioned don't match with my part number.Dink wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 5:02 pmthey sell second hand unit that will plug straight into your car?

Thanks for the suggestion. I called them and left a voice note. I can see a unit with model ending with 42C but thats from Polo. If that is the option, will that need coding after installation?
