At the time I bought my 2020 Polo GTI+ it was only the GTI+ that had keyless entry as standard and it was an extra cost option on all other models apart from the entry level ‘S’ model (it wasn’t available on the S model). The keyless entry function also includes keyless start, so if you have to use the key in the ignition key hole on the steering column to start your car, then you won’t have keyless entry (cars with keyless entry don’t have an ignition keyhole on the steering column - they have a start button on the centre console just in front of the gear lever / DSG selector). Also, cars with keyless entry have a small ‘dimple’ on the outside door handles of the front doors that you touch to lock the car.
