2013 S Remote locking (advise for a noob)

Hey guys
I recently got a polo 2013 s its ovely little car however was shocked to find no remote locking (it has central locking)
I thought it would be easy to install a kit (naively) but after reading the posts on this forum it seems a little more complicated than I expected.

My mechanical / electrical skill are zero

Can anyone suggest or help on which kit is best/ easiest and advice on how to install

Hi,
If i was you find someone with VCDS or similar tool and post an autoscan.
It might be easier than you think if your car module supports it.

given that it's an S model i'm guessing it has the 085 BCM so you probably need a new BCM and some remote keys

Yes, remove BCM.
Maybe OBD11, carista?

Those are like small "diagnostic tools" they aren't overly expensive .
Can you maybe join some facebook group and ask If someone near you has VCDS to do an AutoScan. Buy them coffe
Maybe ask someone here, you never know.

Sure, did you find out the part number of your BCM?

Nope somone said about getting it read but couldnt get on the facebook group to ask if anyone was near
