I have a set of RC Design RC32 on my GTI+. The set I’ve got are the same size and spec as the OEM 18” Brescia alloys (7.5J x 18”, ET51, centre bore 57.1, PCD 5x100) and are finished in a Ferric Grey Matt powder coat, so they have good durability during the winter months (they’re also available in Satin Black and there’s a Himalaya Grey /diamond cut version too - I’d avoid the Himalaya Grey / diamond cut version for use as winter wheels).

I keep them on my car all year round as I really don’t like diamond cut alloys (poor durability, susceptible to white worm corrosion - especially during winter months on a car used as a daily driver, easily damaged when having new tyres fitted). Unlike many aftermarket alloys, the RC32’s in the Polo’s fitment use the existing VW OEM radius head wheel bolts and VW’s black plastic bolt covers will fit too. They’re an easy to clean design, and they don’t have that awkward channel that runs around the diameter of the wheel behind the spokes that the OEM Brescia alloys has.

I’m not sure if they’re still available in the UK with an offset of ET51 (I bought mine pre-Brexit, and the company I bought them from no longer sells alloys in the UK). If not, then I think they are available in the UK with a slightly more aggressive offset (ET46) from Wheelbase Alloys who are now the official UK distributor. A 7.5J alloy with an offset of ET46 would poke outwards an additional 5mm compared to the factory Brescia alloys.

Here’s what mine look like on my car;

Forum member @stuartrendall had the 17” Satin Black version of RC Design RC32’s on his Reef Blue GTI+. There’s a picture on page 1 of the discussion thread at the link below;
