We Connect
I have a new Polo GTI bought in November. Connection to We Connect on my laptop is coming up with an online error and VW help is asking for a photo of the globe on the infotainment system which should be white. Where is it? the only globe I can see is in the passenger airbag logos on the left of the infotainment which has a seatbelt sign on it and is currently yellow and goes off after a minute. Is that the logo VW help is referring to?

On the top of the infotaimentscreen in the middle, next to the time, there should be a globe, when not connected it is grey, when online it is white..

Thanks. I found a globe next to the time on 1 of the settings pages.

Fingers crossed you don’t have what my last gti had - it refused to connect to WeConnect at all, even when plugged in at the dealer. VW didn’t know how to fix it so I rejected the car.
