I’m fine thanks. I have a boot liner (branded Novline) but it’s one of the tray types with a raised edge to contain spillages, rather than one that covers the entire boot area including the sides of the boot compartment. I didn’t go for an OEM VW one as the one I bought was much cheaper and IMHO better quality than those lightweight polystyrene / foam type liners.Sbal wrote: Mon Jan 30, 2023 8:24 amHi SRGTD, I hope you're well? 100℅ yes, you're right and thankfully they do have the openings for the side airbagsSRGTD wrote: Mon Jan 30, 2023 7:58 am Worth just checking that they are airbag friendly, so in the event of sideswipe type accident, the front seat side airbags can deploy correctly without causing injury.. I'm thinking about protecting the boot, now too. They do ones that fully cover the inside of the boot. Definitely need to protect the bumper tailgate area too!
If I was to fit some form of rear bumper protector, I’d probably go for the ‘invisible’ clear PPF type as I’m not a fan of the more visible bumper protectors (e.g. black vinyl or stainless steel).
