Well that is depressing, just seems we can’t escape cyber security these days. Is this another reflection of cost cutting? I seem to remember the whole chip crisis thing was that automakers bought the cheaper chips so when everyone was in lockdown and car makers dropped orders and consumer electronics spiked, the chip manufacturers where more than happy to pick other sources of orders.
Stories like this make me wonder whether I want a shiny new Performance VW in 2-3yrs or if I just look at the golden oldies and pick up one of those instead.
