No, not specifically for you, but more generally.
People with app-connect, but without voice control, can still use the voice control button for app-connect.

I set up my AA Wireless that arrived yesterday and used it for a half hour drive today, phone got hot and battery drain was significantly more than in my T-Cross that is built in wireless AA.

I'll persevere with it and see if it settles down or if I can disable something (thinking WiFi might have been on) to reduce heat/battery drain, any tips gratefully received!

I did find my phone very warm in my shirt pocket..

It does that sometimes regardless..

My AA system uses both BT and 5ghz Wifi.. Perhaps that's some of it?

If you have a case it can keep the heat in more .. Depending on the type of case.

I put my phone in a holder in front of the A/C.

I will keep this in mind, great idea! Also thank you grazuncle2 for your experience, I do use a case so I will try without if the heat persists.

I bought Leranda it was the cheapest one, it works perfectly as soon as I start the car it quickly connects to the car, I use the android system.
