In the Fuchs document, where did you see the ester additive ?

So on the other forum I linked, I was told it is an Ester and the code in the original VW datasheet, it is 01-2119493620-38.

If you type this code into google, you will get the EC number 931-384-6, which is what is listed in Fuchs.

I still have at home 3 brand new bottles of Fuchs Oil, and now 4 more bottle of Liqui Moly

Viscosity or chemical composition ?

On my side, gear change is butter smooth when warm.
Just 1st gear is a little bit notchy (after engine start, before the first gear shiffting).

If you had the chemical equipment you could heat them both up and compare to see how well they flow lol

Oh yes, Fuchs is only VW too - but I'm surprised how the liqui moly is a lot more thinner than the Fuchs, would have thought the other way round. Not even sure how you will find the answers, it's just a risk you have to take, lol.

I'm going to send my Liqui Moly oils back (I'll lose the postage).
On LeBonCoin, a guy is selling a bottle of G052527A2 for 25 euros. .

I'm going to get two more from Germany (55 euros/l), so I can fill the can properly and "reduce" the cost.

Ah still so expensive for me, I have had a silly idea but might work. There is Vauxhall/Opel oil original, which is like £60 for 3l. I wonder if it is possible. 31 and 6.2 viscosity and 0.855 density.
