I remember that Slavik showed me the CH/LH menus with one of those FWs some time ago but I think there were some incompatibilities.
My tests are aimed at the TPMS and RTA, although I suppose it is already more than tested.

In any case, thanks for the notes.👍

While I was searching for something on my storage, I bumped in an 7E0 8k pdc that I had totally forgot its existence.
I have the flash file but I need parameters to test it right ?

I don't think so, I'm not entirely sure, from my experience I can only say that this 7E0 PDC 8K unit works 'perfectly' on the PQ25 without load any parameters.
The PDC sensors are very accurate on my 6R with this unit.👌

I updated my old 8k unit to 7E0…AA today, everything was successful.
My unit was originally a 56D unit from Ali reflashed with a 7E0…J software but everything went smooth to 7E0…AA.
Parameters are not needed in these units, maybe because you chose car type in the last byte.
RCTA coding was accepted and everything seemed ok without errors, at least on the visual part. (cluster software 2H6 1009 with MIB STD2)

My trw460 abs does not auto brake unfortunately,
there is no option to activate RCTA so I have never instaled the rear abs sensors that support direction recognition.

To be honest if you do not care about automatic activation on low speeds there is no need to go to 1k8 unit and live with the well-known error.

Perfect💎, I sincerely thank you for the tests you have done due to my questions/assumptions/imaginations, I know this takes a bit of effort and time. THANK YOU!👌🤝

Now we know something more!!
I guess this will be very useful for our fellow T5/T6 travelers.🤷‍♂️

Since you have SW 1009 on your cluster, have you test with 7E0 PDC unit installed and with HMI uncheck on the 3C radars if you receive a message and/or acoustic signal from your cluster when you are reversing and a vehicle is crossing behind/rear?

This happens on some Transporter clusters with 1k8 PDC unit.

I will definitely check it with both 7E0 and 1K8 pdcs
I recently saw that post but I did not had the time to test all the combinations, I only changed bit 0 from 04 to 02 on the radars.
So in my 5Q0 radars the coding became 02032102 and I never heard or seen anything other than the visual on the navigation.
Whith this coding I am getting the known "Braking ECU ESP_33 - no signal/no communication"

I will try to make a detailed chart with all the combinations and codings.

I was not able to create a notification, neither visual nor audible.
I tried all the combinations of codding.
I believe that the key part is ABS and the proper rear abs sensors.

Ok, thank you very much, I appreciate all your effort and your research.
I totally agree, according to everything seen online it is logical to think that the ABS system + the bidirectional speed sensors are essential parts to manage the RTA/RCTA.
