- Reconnect it.
- Set the comfort function for all car windows with the window switch on the driver's door (auto up/down - one click).
- With VCDS, Clear All DTCs.
- New BCM coding:

You should have no problem replacing the old instrument panel with a BRAND NEW instrument panel at any VW dealer, they will be happy to charge you for the stated labor time for this replacement.
Don't forget to give them all the keys/remotes assigned to your car for a satisfactory replacement.

If you buy a second-hand one, I will tell you by PM who you should contact to code it. It would be necessary to send him the old instrument panel and the keys/remotes 'to Europe', 100% trustworthy in security issues, 'the best guy' in these matters.

I think in your case, it is better to buy a new one and have the dealer do the replacement. The one you indicate is perfect for your TSI.

Being in your situation a few years ago, I seem to recall that the VW dealer charged me half an hour of labor to adapt the instrument panel, at a reasonable price for any pocket.
I went with the upper cover of the steering column and the two screws that hold the instrument panel already removed. It was only necessary to disconnect the old one and connect the new one.

The actual work took about 2-5 minutes with the VAS. Everything OK!
