Central Locking Light Stopped Flashing

Does anyone have any suggestions why the small light that indicates the car is locked would stop flashing.

The car is under two years old and this problem only started during the recent very cold weather (which I am sure is a coincidence).

I realise it is only a very minor problem but I really would like to solve it.

If the red LED door locking indicator isn’t flashing, it suggests you might have a problem with your central locking deadlocking function (there may be other reasons it’s stopped flashing).

If your car’s less than two years old it’ll still be under warranty, so in your position I’d be getting it booked in to the dealer to investigate and fix it at no cost to you.

I guess I will have to book it in if there is no obvious reason for the problem.

Do you have the weconnect app?
Check there if it says door(s) open.
Do you have OEM alarm?
If no than you do not have deadlocks/safelocks fitted.
Try opening and closing all doors, maybe a sensor is stuck.

If nothing helps, just let the dealer find the problem
