Hello everyone,

1. MKE Fatigue Detection
With ciclo's method I was able to activate this feature on my car with the help ODIS E. I must stay this is an useful feature while taking road trips.

2. Anti theft alarm system on Polo 6R
This anti theft alarm system is present on all polo 6R across the world. It is even present in Polo sold in India before 2014. Post 2014 Volkswagen has removed this feature from Polo 6R(Sold in INDIA) for cost cutting reasons.
Anyways I recently was able to source the necessary parts from the used market.

Since Polo sold in India does not have the bracket into the headliner, we have to insert the sensors in Cabin Light in the place where Bluetooth Mic are suppose to be installed.

Yet to install the Anti theft alarm on my car. But this sensor works without the anti theft alarm too. It would activate the alarm in two situations. One if there is a movement inside the car after you have locked the car and the second if someone is trying to lift your car on jack. Obviously there is a way to disable it with the help of the switch.

Hello,

1. 8K OPS Auto Detect

Finally decided to go with this retrofit considering the traffic conditions in Mumbai(place where I live). Simple installation but the only problem I faced was flashing the modules to proper SW along with a proper dataset, as I don't have access to VCP. Only VCDS and ODIS are present with me.

Parts/Tools required:
1. 1KD 919 472A/5Q0 919 294L.
2. PDC Button.
3. Front Sensors with seals and brackets.
4. OEM BEA000001 Tool for Cutting Out the Holes for PDC
5. VCDS/ODIS
6. Wiring Harness
7. Front Buzzer

When you connect everything and try to make it work, it won't work because the software is not suitable. In this case, flashing is needed.

Code: Select all

For 1KD 919 472A
Open ODIS E
Select Project VW37X
Flashing
Do it

For 5Q0 919 294L
Open ODIS E
Select Project AU37X
Flashing
Do it

For Parameters(Same for both modules)
Open ODIS E
Select Project VW46X
Dataset Writing
Do it
End Results:

Hi Aditya, are you optimizing the resources used for this installation? Is the buzzer stuck on with double-sided tape? I think you shouldn't give new ideas to the CEO or VW engineers... lately it seems that this pseudo job called CEO is already quite risky... soon we will be charged 60,000 euros/pounds/dollars for a roll of double-sided tape + four wheels, 'chiki-chiki' plastics, and a steering wheel.😁

In any case, having 8K is a great improvement in parking assistance, you will be glad you have it. Enjoy it!👍
