Driver side dooe speaker intermittent at low volume (<30%)

Has anyone experienced this before? Car has Apple Carplay. 2019 GTI+ AW.

The door speaker is mostly off at lower volumes however if I turn it up beyond 30%ish it stays fully on with no faults.

Want to avoid having to take this to a garage ideally.
