Hill start assist error

Hello,

Got this error on start-up for a few days now, any way to reset/deactivate it please.

I did a quick Google search and see posts on various forums going back as far as 2012 about this although there are no "fixes" provided, mostly people posting about their issues. My advice would be to call on your local VW dealer and speak with a technician about it and then once resolved, post the "fix" here so we have a solution on record.

Is there not a pressure/vacuum sensor on the line to the brake servo, I seem to remember, without being able to actually point/link to any forum/thread that if there is a problem with that sensor, then maybe "strange" or "confusing" things can happen, just a suggestion as this only seemed to affect a few cars across the "same size" VAG fleet - more so with previous models - probably as more of them are "out there".
