This old ODB doesn't list any codes to clear - the console lists the tyre and the left dipped headlight. The connectors for the bulb really look like new but there is no voltage there. The battery contacts look good.
If I need a more up-to-date diagnostic tool then I suppose I should go to a garage.

Well, in that case, it's best to have someone take a look at it with a more modern diagnostic tool.
Anyone can do it...
Hmm... ask someone close to you who knows someone who can do it at a price that's affordable for anyone... in anticipation that even after clearing the DTC the problem will continue.

I've had use of a dongle ODB connected to a phone app - no faults other than archived entries.
Oh well, off to he money pit.

You may be able to find someone in your local area who has and offers to use their VCDS for a reasonable fee to remove/clear those archived entries; it shouldn't take more than five minutes.
