how to remove MFSW? and correct part no with ACC

hi
new to my GT+ 2018 polo
- the MFSW is not working and i want to replace it - i assume it is, disconnect battery, air bag out but wheel can stay in place?

also does any one have the correct part no for the MFSW with Adapative Cruise Control

Hi.

Yes, remove the negative battery terminal.
The steering 'wheel' can remain in place without removing it.
There are many video tutorials on YouTube.

Note: you need a diagnostic tool to code the new steering wheel/buttons and clear DTCs due to battery disconnection.
