Pressure washing fabric seats in Polo 1.0 Match 6R
Just bought a 25K miles 2016 Polo 1.0 Match 6R and the seats were marked/stained from spillages (I assume). In order to clean them quickly with equipment I already had, I disconnected the car battery, removed the seats and simply pressure-washed them with water. They're now soaked and will take days, if not weeks to dry out, of course, which is what I expected. And that's fine. My question is, how will the airbags and anything else electrical in the seat be affected, if there's still any moisture left in the seats, when I refit them and reconnect them electrically... What does anyone think here, please?

My friend did the same to mk4 golf seats ( as i know they also have airbags) and they were completely fine.
Just leave them in sun to dry out.
I once washed my rear bench in winter ( because i spilled something) and it took 2-3 weeks to dry out the foam....
In summer heat it takes about 5-7 days. Just spray contact cleaner on connectors and leave the seats to dry out really good.

Should have used an extractor
On a nice warm day, dry in 5-8 hours
