daytime running lights
On my 2010 tsi the dipped beams double as daytime running lights so I'm guessing they are going to have to be replaced fairly frequently and fitting uprated bulbs will only make it more frequent. What do people do? Is it worth seeking out long life bulbs?

they fail once in a few years. i wouldn't worry about it too much. the factory fits philips longlife lights.
