DSG Selector only has an issue after driving!?

Hi all

For the past couple of years I've been dealing with an intermittent issue whereby the polo will start everytime without fail. However if I drive for more than half an hour, it won't start as it'll be asking for P ---> N on the dash despite being in P or N.

I'll do my shopping, have a walk around the block whatever, but give it 1/1.5hrs it's like it times out and will start again.

Took it onto a shop last year and it read no error codes, so reluctant to drop it in a garage to get pumped or no solution.

Any ideas? Or reputable DSG places in and around Bristol or Bridgwater?
