Canbus plug removal

Help!

Struggling to remove the plug from the Canbus of my 2023 Polo GTI.

I removed the Canbus from the bracket to provide slightly better access - but try as I might, I cannot remove the plug!

On mine, the plug is in solid - regardless of how hard I press in the tab and pull on the plug.

You need to push the connector into the gateway controller slightly THEN push the tab in and remove the plug .

Many thanks for the advise.

I tried but still no luck. Admittedly even with the gateway controller unclipped from the bracket, access is tight.

I will take it to an electrician and hopefully they will show me the trick,
