In short, the steering column must be retrofitted first. You can choose either the 2QD 909 144 or the 2Q1 423 510 AH.
I chose to replace my original 1S1 909 144 P with a 2QD 909 144 because it is a direct swap. Both units are manufactured by NSK, and the connectors as well as the mounting points are identical.
You can refer to MrCollayder’s posts https://www.drive2.ru/l/646217619333976450/ and herehttps://www.drive2.ru/l/715639409122219932/.
Then proceed with importing the parameters. I used the VW FOX parameter set provided by James11123(The VW27 project must be used.). https://www.drive2.ru/l/640154087584699996/

For the A5 camera, I chose the 3Q0 980 654 A with software version H.
The camera mounting bracket was a universal type (ID.3-style replica) purchased from Taobao.
For detailed information, you can still refer to MrCollayder’s posts.

At present, there is no way to display any Lane Assist information on either the instrument cluster or the MIB2 system.

Finally, I’ve included NotebookLM, which contains the webpages of all the related information I collected.
By asking the “right questions,” it becomes very effective in quickly extracting useful information.
Personally, I find it very useful as it significantly reduces the time needed for reading and research.

Thanks for such a detailed answer! 👍
I hope it's helpful for users who need it.

It's nice to see in your video that your 6R drives itself without hands on the wheel, it will make driving on long trips more enjoyable, but remember that it's an 'Assistant', not fully autonomous driving.

Note:
The camera isn't always able to 'see' correctly (gray scale) due to solar declination, poor state of road markings, atmospheric conditions (snow), 'etc'. regardless of the software used in current and next-generation cameras.
