DSG sticking in 2nd gear

Did anyone end up getting to the bottom of this?

I have this exact same issue where my 2nd gear could red line and I have to come off the accelerator and come back on for it to almost ‘recalibrate’ and change the gear. For me it seemed to happen on a hill going up or downhill

Reading the OP’s post dated 4th November 2023 (10th post on page 2 of this discussion topic), they no longer have the car - it was taken back by the finance company (VWFS?).
