Hey guys, i was wonder if anyone has a manual on how to remove the egine harness on cbzb engine (1.2 tsi 2010)
i have bought a vw workshop (from 2010 to 2017 models) but there is no info anywhere regarding on the 2 harnesses removal.
I have tried to remove it to place a new one, i know what needs to be done but better safe than sorry.
Btw i cut the oil temp sensor harness because i was so frustrated it was out of reach and needed to go under the car.

I just removed the harness .
For any future search from others i will write down as short as possible on what to do.
You need the car to be on garage car lifts, because in order to access the last 4 plugs you need it to be very lifted.
1. you remove battery
2. you remove air filter case along with the tude (u need pliers for the ring)
3. You remove air filter case bottom.
4. you remove battery tray
then you remove the ECU plug
5. remove the other plug next to the ecu plug
6. You remove all visible plugs starting from the wastegate and follow the cables (there is one next to the wastegate under two rubber tubes)
7. You remove the ignition coil
8. You remove the air intake plastic tube from the butterfly to the turbo.
Then start removing all the plugs sitting there next to the coil cables including the 4 plugs of the injectors.
What will be left will be 4 plugs that go under the car the cable runs between the butterfly (throttle body) and intake
You need to access those from under the car, 3 of them can be easily removed. One was really hard from under the car (maybe from top easier with manifold removed ?)
I believe that if you remove the intake manifold you prolly can remove them from top EXCEPT the furthest one that has to do with the oil temperature and sits on the oil tray.
When you want to completely remove the harness after unpluging everything, its good to unscrew the cable that goes to the starter, since the harness goes under it. you will have more space that way to remove and place a new one easier.
The harness has the tendency to put itself in place, due to its formation and brackets.
It is always good to take photographs whenever unsure, or forget etc etc.
