Can't understand why....

Post by Markino »

Hi all,
I've a problem with my Polo 9N 2004...
almost every morning I turn on my Polo and after taking it out from the parking I feel a noise form the front of my car!
The noise is somethink like when the gear not enter good ("grater") but I think it comes up from the ant. brakes or...

It happens occasionally with the neultral gear, occasionally with the 1st gear, occasionally during releasing the clutch, occasionally with clutch all down so... I think the problem can't origin from gearbox or cluch!!!

The noise comes up in a speed between 10km/h and 20km/h and when the car was stopped from long time (all night long for example!)...

In your opinion where's the problem?

Bye from Italy!

ABS doing a self test - possibly - I don't have a 9n so it's JM2pW

If the noise just lasts for a few seconds, this is what it will be. It is mentioned in the manual somewhere, I think.

Although I've never heard the noise on mine, others say they can hear it.

Deek.
