Although this is my first post under this user name, I was on here quite some time ago under a different name (I've owned 2 9n's already!)
I first had a 1.2E 55bhp before upgrading to a 1.2 Twist 65bhp. I sold the second one this summer, as at the time I knew I'd be off to Bath Uni in October, and would not have anywhere to park my car. Well anyways, now that I'm here (and loving it too), I've just found out I can actually get hold of a parking permit, so another Polo is on the cards!
This time around, I'll be after a diesel - either the 1.9 TDi Sport or the GT.
Anyway, there's the background info. What I'd like to know is whether I'd be able to fit a set of Santa Monica's on a Polo (i.e. does the Polo have the same wheel fitments as the Golf?) If so, is the wheel arch extension kit necessary (the brochure says you need it for the Exor 17" wheels)?
Oh, and if anyone has a pic of a 9n with them on (or has the necessary photoshop skills), I would be extremely grateful!
