Basically it's about there being a new Polo GTI coming out next year around June or somethin' like that with the new face-lift, which is going to be made official around May? Can't remember.
Anyway it's going to be a 1.8T with around 150bhp, they were gonna go for 180bhp but they've decided for the lesser one. Could always tune it later. Err interior kinda the same, but the dashboard shows a top speed of 240?km/h so it's quite fast that beast with 6-gears.
Weighs like 1100kg and the new Golf weighs 1300kg so those people on the mag said the new Polo GTI is more fun to drive and better at cornering.
Main rivals are Mini Cooper S and cars like Peugeot 206 RS/Cs, dunno what they're but hey. It'll do 0 to 60 in 8.3sec - official figs. Err no badge - yet but does have twin chrome exhaust and the usual stuff like lower springs and optional sports/leather seats, etc.
Costing around 17,000Euro's and it's jus a proto-type they tested.
