As far as I'm concerned, mk2 Golf and mk3 Polo handles are different. I don't care if they have the same part number or not, I smoothed and painted a mk2 golf one, and went to fit it, and the lights are in differnt places. I had to hack my nicely painted one about with a saw.
Same lenght, same hright, same mounting points, different light positions.
Not sdaying they WON'T fit, but they dont as is. I lil modding, and all sweet.
I'd be interested in one that doesnt need a lock as my DIY one is craking everso slightly.
..although it does depend on price.....

I think there must've been a change made to them at some point then Rob? I can only find 2 versions of the handle listed on ETOS (same as ETKA) - the black one (same part as Polo) and a colour-coded one, but maybe there's a discontinued older part? The colour-coded handle I pulled off an Oak Green 16v has the number plate light holes in the same place as the Polo ones, so some Mk2 Golf ones do go straight on!
