I take that as meaning it's not just a switch out replacement for the existing interior light unit? The link that jrw posted seems to make it look easy, but then that's for a Golf MkIV; how different is it to that guide, btw?

Hmm well i guess it depends how frustrated you get with it and what way round you want it facing. Never saw jrw's guide to it. Wiring it a bit fun

. Not quite as flush as the old interior light either.
