Thanks guys. :D

I know they're bit high. Give me some time. I do wanna lower it. But most of you guys don't like lowering springs, do you? :?

I had 50mm eibach lowering springs on mine and I thought it looked ace!
It shouldn't matter what other people think :D

Anyway, if it did you would have taken that silly spoiler off by now.

True true.

I'm jus worried about the "ride comfort" after I got some them lowered and the cost.

Like getttin' them fitted etc.

very true! with 17s the ideal drop is 50mm (if ur getting springs, not coilovers) but James, ur 1 was an FSI sport model that had sports shocks..... with -30mm being harsh (acording to ppl on this forum) 50mm will be a nightmare(on standard shocks, non sports 1s)
I'm jus worried about the "ride comfort"
it wuld definately be worse. i know a girl that is lowered by 60mm in her clio.... she says its VERY bumpy and uncomfortable...just a thot....

surprisingly (well to me anyway!) the polo soaks up bumps very well with bigger wheels :D
ie: did u find the ride quality of the 17s similar to the old 14s?
for me i dont fink the looks can compromise for the harsh(er) ride.... its really up to u :P

Aaron - To be honest. I jus want the look - dont care about the ride as long as it doesn't become painful when going over an ant or somethin'. lol :D So, shall I get some springs next? Or shall I forget that thought?

Dodge - From Bath? Who are you!! :P LOL. I'm around town all the time!

They're kinda bit dark silver-ish. Quite "in your face" type under the sun. :P

And Gary, it's not THAT bad! Can't afford to lower it at the current moment. What do you think about lowering springs then?

I really like those alloys,

It looks ok at the moment but will look mean when u get it lowered.

If ya not bothered about the ride just go for the springs when you've saved up. I would make it your next mod though!
