The girl I'm hoping to bring with me probably actually can't come :( But still, I'd better not say anything about her that could in any way be held against me in case she does decide to come

Wahey! I'm coming, she's coming, it's some ridiculous time in the morning and I'm getting up to give the car a once-over before I leave :D

look out if your planning to use the m42

junctions 6 to 9 are SHUT SHUT SHUT

go by the m1 instead, or m6 / a38 (DC) and cut across on the a-roads (it'll be a nightmare, mind, but better than having to deal with the alternative routes round brum)

found this out whilst waiting for people to go up that way, after i left work (~6.15)... eventually clocked on to all the cones etc.... no obvious signage of course!

enjoy your day out, im going to bed now, knackered to f***!

I just got back too :) Sorry I didn't stay and talk to you guys a while longer, but Jennie was looking decidedly bored standing around while I talked to a bunch of guys that she'd never met.. next time I'll come by myself and be a bit more sociable ;)
Good event though, some lovely cars there, and it was nice to meet some of you, if only briefly!

Ah, mine was parked way up the end of the carpark, and looks just like any other white mk2 breadvan to the untrained eye (ie any eye other than mine ;) )
Didn't notice yours about either, whereabouts did you leave it?

:D
Nah, I'm afraid she's just a regular, non-bold, italic or underlined friend ;) But the only female friend I have who doesn't mind being dragged around car shows, which is great in my opinion :D Still, I felt a bit guilty bringing her all that way and then just standing around chatting to people who she didn't know, hence not hanging around a bit longer :( I'll promise to be more sociable next time ;)

Oh man, i knew i said i was gonna come along to this but i was in no state to drive anywhere!

I went to a leaving doo with work and got severely drunk. The lad who's leaving doo it was came out of the closet  which too say the least, shocked me. Anyway, i couldn't get out of bed until 1.15pm so had already missed half the show.

Well, it sounds like you all had a wicked time.

Sorry i couldn't make it.
