V5 with standard suspension and drove like a tank. H&R springs and 17" wheels kind of sorted it out but I've grown to love my little Polo.tigor wrote:But but but..... you had a V5!Mikeyw wrote:I had a Golf mk4 V5 and now have the Polo 9n.
The Polo wins hand down with better handling, ride and it is newer in everyway. GolfMK4 is coming to an end so will effect the value.
Polo I say!

Yeah I had a mk4 V5 also. Apart from the engine noise it was gutless (on the motorway anyway) the Polo TDi is far superior.
But then my next car will proably be the Touran (sorry chaps) or the new Ford Focus MPV (sorry again) my alternative will be an Accord.
May I be banished from this forum for mentioning the FORD word

Any mention to a GM product - and I don't mean the Genetically Modified type - should be grounds for instant punishment.
Edit: see the ugly car post.
