9N Brake Pad Upgrade - Anyone Done it ?

Post by mh »

Hi There

My Wife has a 1.2 55 with the discs on the front and drums on the back.
I think the brakes are POOR so i'm looking at doing a upgrade.

One of the options I can see is to upgrade the Front pads to Pagid Fast Road.

has any else done this?

I've searched the Pagid Online Catalogue and found that Part Number T1287 is the one that fits. I will confirm this when I order.

Thanks

I would recommend Ferodo DS2500. These brakepads perform very well with the stock discs and are used for roadcars aswell on trackcars.

Greenstuff are just minorly better than stock. The only thing they do is producing grey brakedust so your (grey) wheels seem to be less dirty.

Ferodo/ Pagid/ Stoptech etc. are proper brakes.

I'd stay away from Greenstuff, they have a habit of warping any disc they touch.

I'd get Pagid Fast Roads, they're highly rated with many VAG owners.
