Window Tinting

(Not sure if this is the right section)

Anyway can someone through some details about window tinting - I developed a little interest over to this mod now. :P

Well I wanna know how much, where, difficult? DIY? Legal issues or somethin'?

DIY is a no no IMO.. for a quality finish go for pro fittin

front windscreen cant be tinted. there is a limit on the front 2 (driver and passenger)

Tinter and his matey do a fantastic job at an unbeatable price.

Any how prices can usually Vary from £200 + apart from Tinter of course :wink:

mine were £165 for 7 windows.. how much was urs SiDaBa?

wow that's impressive.

Mine were £125 :P However i'm a 3 door. Would have been £150 for 5 door.

Sounds cheap - but yeah quality issue there.

SiDaBa you really are selling the Tinter aren't you? You get any profits for it? :P

:lol: sadly no i don't get any profits from them, was just really pleased with the job they did.

As of yet i only have pictures of the car when it's REALLY dirty with the tints. Besides i've been reluctant to put pics of my car up since the git who dented the side of my car (ages ago now). Will when i have a "secure" job get the car repaired.

I done mines myself in the Mk5 and im gonna do the GT ones myself after x-mas.

They look just as good as the professionals but i did work in the sign industry at the time and spent loads of time laying vinyls.
I got someone to help as well.
