i am "poppy" polo's owner, i was wondering where to start with some modifications, i want to change the front lamp shape how could i do this? if anyone has some ideas that are cheap and cheerful, please lemme know!!
i think the plain square headlights on my polo genesis are alrite, but i really like the older round style i was wondering if i could make the front of the car look like it has more "shapely" lamps if u get what i mean! i cant explain but i want them to look more modern! if you understand, do you have any idea where i can find pictures of styles!? cheers
Someone has put the nice "shapely" MK4 Golf headlights on a MK3 Polo, however, I suspect that this took a massive amount of work. (mostly bodywork I imagine)
I think to start with, I'd go with Dan's suggestion of getting some clear indicator lenses to start with (if you don't already have them).
Yeah, I know Tony. He's a top bloke and well funny too.
His mate did all the body work for him. I think he used parts of a Merc Sprinter van, but most of it was custom 'one off'. He says it took a lot of work, which I can Imagine.
Certainly looks impressive, but as a first mod, maybe a bit much.
Back to the topic.... Do Hella or Morrette do a twin headlamp conversion? if they don't, i would have thought they would be interested in developing a fitment.
i think im getting ahead of myself abit with the big ideas im gonna go for something like the change of indicator and the side indicator lenses in green! i want my polo to look different thas all! how long has it taken you lot to make your polos look beautiful?
