Sensor and Globe Box QUESTION

1. Does someone Knows what this sensor is for??????

2. My polo didn`t came with a light inside de Glob Box comparment, and is kind of difficult to find things at night. I found that ther is the place where it suposed to be. Who has the light? and what model it is?

temp sensor and see if you can remove the blanking plate and if theres any wire back there then it prolly is the glove box light
