hello everyone!

After discussions with people, I have decided to organise the second annual south eastern meet!
Ask anyone who turned up last year and hopefully they will tell you that last year was a great event!

The meet will be held on Sunday 30th January 2005 @ The Wharf pub in Crossways, Dartford, Kent (this is the same place as last year)

Nestled behind the factory and office units of this business park and beside an attractive lake lies The Wharf. It is a Shepherd and Neame pub serving excellent bar meals with a restaurant below the bar area. An extensive and varied menu including a good selection of fish, my favourite remains the Carvery. Reasonably priced at under Â£7.00, it includes 3 meats (beef, pork and turkey), roast and new potatoes, 4 or 5 vegtables and the usual trimmings (stuffing, yorkshire pudding etc). A really pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. The bar gets very busy at lunch time but the restaurant while busy doesn't usually require booking.

The pub is located about a mile from the M25, which gives easy access from all over the South!

It would be great if we could pull off something that would better last year!

Last year we had a variety of polos, however we also had a few lupos, and a certain red skoda!

i shall extend the invite to other models again!

I will give you more info closer to the time but for now, the date is set and so is the place!

please post here to confirm whether you can make it!

evenin all! i've found the directions from the previous meet and they go as follows:

The Wharf
Cotton Lake
Galleon Boulevard
Crossways
Dartford
Kent
DA2 6QL

DIRECTONS
These directions are all from my head and I cannot be held responsible if you end up lost! Please double check any directions yourself before travelling!

FROM ESSEX (CLOCKWISE M25):

Travel towards the Dartford crossing, go over the bridge and go to a left hand toll booth - take the NEXT exit. At the first round about go straight over (2nd exit) signposted CROSSWAYS. You will now be travelling parallel to the M25. Go straight over another round about, and the road bears to the right, then there's another roundabout. Turn right here. Go straight over the next little roundabout and the pub is on the right hand side.

FROM KENT (ANTI-CLOCKWISE M25):

Travel towards the Dartford crossing, just before the crossing, take the last exit you can. (1A) At the round about, take the 3rd exit (right) and cross over the M25. Now bear left (1st exit) towards CROSSWAYS!. You will now be travelling parallel to the M25. Go straight over another round about, and the road bears to the right, then there's another roundabout. Turn right here. Go straight over the next little roundabout and the pub is on the right hand side.

FROM M2/A2 (EITHER DIRECTION)

Come off at Bluewater turning and head towards bluewater. When you see the signs that say "USE BOTH LANES FOR BLUEWATER" stay in the right hand lane. When you get to the roundabout, go straight ahead (i think) and join the dual carrage way. At the next round about (macdonalds on the right) go straight ahead. At the next round about (ASDA) turn left. Go straight over the next one (Burger King) and then left at the next one. Straigh over the little roundabout and the pub is down there on the right.

Mole, we may have a bit more of a convoy than last year, is that ok?
